Neighbors

I love, love, LOVE, my next door neighbors. They are an older retired couple that have done just about everything in life. When Resident Munchkin visits her dad, I often go over and talk with them. They have a raised garden in back and have offered to help me build one in my backyard. They have property somewhere (I'm assuming they rent it out) that has a plethora of fruit trees and other goodies.

Lady L came over last night and brought me homemade concord grape jam, tomatoes, and peppers. I, in exchange, gave her a jar of my granola. I will also bring over some bread that I make this weekend.

I'm so thankful to have these two next door. And their two ankle-biter fur babies make for good security.

That is all.

I'm glad to hear you have such great neighbours. It's good for the Munchkin too!

Care to post your apple granola recipe? Maybe I missed it earlier...but it sounds delicious.

"Ankle biter fur babies!" That's a perfect description of the 4 (maybe 5?) little white yapping fur balls that my neighbor lady has. Glad you have a great neighbor. Too few of those these days.

Hi Annie, I will post my Granola recipe probably early next week as I need to make another batch and actually measure. :)

And Hi 3GKnight! Long time no see! And yes, good neighbors are hard to find these days. I hope they stick around.
